Aircraft Carrier Harry S. Truman

The Navy League of the United States, Provence Council, welcomes you.

The Navy League is composed of numerous local organizations called “Councils” and has branches all over the world. The international Councils welcome Naval officers and sailors whose vessels are anchored in their area. These Councils provide help and hospitality and give these visitors the opportunity to meet local people through organized events.

Provence Council received its Charter in 1990. Our association covers the region from Toulon to Marseille and includes American members as well as members of other nationalities.

Over the past twenty years Provence Council has welcomed hundreds of visiting U.S. ships. Besides having the opportunity to meet and associate with Naval Officers and local members of the Navy League, membership benefits include a subscription to the monthly magazine “Sea Power”, receipt of the annual “Sea Power Almanach”, invitations to visit many of the ships which come to the area and invitations to numerous other activities which the Navy League may sponsor or be invited to.

We hope to count you soon as a member and thank you in advance on behalf of the members of all the U.S. Maritime Services.
